8 dead in 3 shootings at massage parlors in Georgia police investigating motive
At least one gunman killed eight people in three massage parlors in the Atlanta area on Tuesday, and police said they were trying to determine the cause of the daring attack.
Hours after the murder, a 21-year-old man was arrested in southwest Georgia. Cherokee County Sheriff Captain Jay Baker, a forest animal from Georgia, said Robert Aaron Long, about a mile south of Atlanta, was arrested Tuesday night in Christ County.
Bucker said police believed Long was suspected of firing three shots. Video evidence also shows that Long, an Atlanta Police Department sergeant, is likely to be a suspect with every attack. John Chaffee USA said in a statement emailed today.
Atlanta police responded to a robbery call shortly before 18:00. “On Tuesday,” Chaffee said. When the spa arrived, the police found three women dead.
Chafi said that when the police first happened on the scene, he received a call to shoot into another massage parlor across the street. They go into business and see another woman shot dead.
Released on March 16, 2021 through the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office, this brochure reservation photo shows the 21-year-old suspect Robert Aaron Long. Bucker said that around 11 am, five people were shot at Young’s Asian massage parlor in Auckworth. Baker said two of the victims had died and three were hospitalized and two of them died. The Cherokee Sheriff’s Office posted a photo of the suspect on Facebook Tuesday evening.

Chaffee said that following two gun attacks in massage parlors that became aware of the gunshots in Cherokee County, District 2 commanders quickly sent officers and patrolled the areas to investigate nearby businesses.
The Crisp County Sheriff’s spokesperson told USA Today, lawmakers in Crisp County received information from Cherokee County Sheriff Frank Reynolds that Long was traveling south at around 8 am in a black SUV. Identified by Georgia State Patrol Units and Crisp County lawmakers – a GSP soldier used PIT tactic to stop Long and was arrested and taken to the Crisp County Detention Center.
Chaffy said many have questioned whether the gunfights were related to the murders in Cherokee County. Video footage from our Video Integration Center shows Cherokee County suspects’ car parked in a nearby area during our filming on Piedmont Road. This suggests that, in addition to the video evidence seen by the investigators, our suspect was probably Cherokee County, who was also in detention.
He added that an APD researcher is in Cherokee County and the department is working “to make sure our case is relevant”.
Mary Morgan said that in the United States today, Long’s family has lived on the streets for nearly 18 years. She described a “Christian family” who took her children to church, but knew enough to say hello to them.
She added that she didn’t know Long was back in the area.
De-Ga Senator Rafael Warnock said he prayed for peace for the mourning family and community. His heart was broken tonight, when eight people died as a result of tragic violence in Atlanta.
He also tweeted, “We are once again seeing that hate is fatal.
Georgia Governor Brian Kemp said in a tweet that the police arrested law enforcement who was traveling on the highway before stopping him and praised Long’s “speedy arrest” by law enforcement.
“Our whole family is praying for the victims of this horrible act of violence,” said the governor.
