A powerful visual design tool.It enables teams from around the world to work on the same project at the same time. It does not required to be physically in the same room. InVision is perfect for working together in real-time. It’s one of the best tools out there for designing a website and app prototypes in a highly collaborative way. It also makes it a great way to collaborate with your team members or clients.
Behance
The Behance platform provides portfolios for creatives to share their work. With its simple layout and beautiful design, it is a visually stunning resource for designers and creators of all levels. The site is organized into user profiles and showcases the best of the best talent. I love the search function, which allows me to find specific designers by skill or location, while also displaying recommended projects based on my previous searches. It’s always good to look at what other professionals are doing in the industry you want to be in. I know that when I go back later, this blog post will give me some great inspiration for how I want my website to look like!
MailChimp
Best for creating mailing lists, automating email campaigns, and tracking reports of campaigns. MailChimp is so easy to use that anyone can create a list, design emails and send them off with the push of a button. Plus, they make it simple to measure the success of your campaign. For instance, you can easily figure out which messages resonated best with subscribers by seeing how many people opened and clicked each message in an email campaign. The interface is beautifully designed too- some might even say elegant. It’s hard not to be inspired by their philosophy of Creating beautiful things shouldn’t cost the earth.
Airbnb
With Airbnb, you’ll find a place to stay wherever you go and can plan your travel adventures in advance. The Airbnb iPhone app provides up-to-date information on all the accommodations in your area, making it easy to plan and research ahead of time. Check out the About page on their website to see how they’ve translated these design principles into their company culture. The clean interface and crisp visual elements demonstrate their belief that No detail is too small.
I’m sure many of you have noticed a design trend going around lately. Flat designs are no longer new and now we’re seeing a bit of pushback in the form of radial gradients, grunge textures, and large shadows. DropBox
Since its launch in 2007, Dropbox has been an exceptionally popular storage option for users all over the world. Its intuitive interface makes it easy to upload and download files to any device. The design features a sleek white background that is interrupted by colorful gradients that indicate which files are most recently used or downloaded. It also includes tabs at the top of the page for different types of files, making it easy to find what you’re looking for. All of these design elements work together to create a well-organized and user-friendly experience.
Cargocollective
Created in 2005 by Eliza Jane Saunders. Creativity. Eliza’s site features her designs, tutorials and works of other artists. The site has a clean and organized interface that is very user-friendly. Clicking on an individual thumbnail opens up the whole portfolio in a separate window and allows users to navigate through them all at once. There are filters on the left hand side that allow you to filter the portfolios according to criteria such as featured artist or date of publication, while at the bottom of each page there is an option to add or remove columns of content such as thumbnails, titles or even downloads if you’re looking for a particular file format such as PSD or EPS files.
GrooveHQ
One of the most common ways to engage a user is through a responsive interface. With mobile usage dominating the internet, you will want to make sure your design works in any browser size. Additionally, you want to make sure that your design feels polished and has a unique look. To help out, we compiled some of our favorite sites with great UI design to inspire you. The site for GrooveHQ (see above) is a perfect example of how good UX design can have an impact on conversion rates. The navigation for the site was designed to be simple and intuitive, which results in fewer people giving up on their search and leaving the site without buying anything. They also offer a variety of different features to increase conversion rates such as social proof, personalization, ease-of-use, etc.
Beyond just making something usable though, there are other factors that go into great UX design like creating an intuitive product hierarchy or adding information architecture where needed so that users can easily find what they are looking for on your website.
ProductHunt
An honorable mention on ProductHunt could create life-changing opportunities for developers and designers who want their work to get noticed. Plus, being featured means you get extra social traction from all the new traffic coming your way. It’s not unheard of for startups like Dollar Shave Club or TEMPO TV to skyrocket in popularity because they received a coveted ProductHunt spot. After I posted my design, I put it out into the world for feedback.
I made some changes based on feedback and had my final product published. The first thing I did was research popular blog posts that people would go through before posting one themselves, so I knew what would make mine stand out more than others. After reading 11 blogs about compelling UI design that will inspire you (link), I felt confident that mine would fit right in with the rest!

There are a number of websites and blogs out there that have some amazing user interface design work.
