The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main was previously conducted by the Central Board of Examination (CBSE) annually. From 2019, the exams are conducted twice a year, in January and in April. JEE Main opens up the admission opportunity to renowned institutions of the nation like IIITs and NITs.   4. VITEEE:  The VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology is a widely popular institute level BTech exam. This university level examination secures around 5000 undergraduate seats for the aspirants. The online mode examination is objective in nature and around 2 lakh students attend the exam every year.

  5. WBJEE: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is a state-level examination which is a gateway for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Engineering and Technology, Architecture and Pharmacy, offered by different colleges in the state. This test is focused to determine the speed of the candidate in solving problems rather than measuring the intellectual depth.

  6. SRMJEEE: The SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology offers about 7000 undergraduate seats to the aspirants. It is an online or computer-based test and around 1 lakh candidates appear for the exam every year. The selected candidates are offered admission to various campuses of the institute in Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani and Delhi NCR.

  7. KIITEE: Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination (KIITEE) is conducted by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar. This examination offers admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various colleges of the institute which includes KIIT University, Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences and Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences. There will be around 60 centres for the test which will be conducted in online mode.

  8. MHTCET: The Maharashtra Common Entrance (MHTCET) Test is conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) that facilitates entry into various engineering colleges in Maharashtra. This exam is held twice in a year. According to the score in the entrance examination, the candidates will be admitted to their preferred colleges.

  9. KCET: The Karnataka Common Entrance Test is an examination held in Karnataka to admit students into various engineering colleges in the state. Only the students residing in Karnataka with original proof of their residency are eligible to appear for the examination.

  10. COMEDK UGET: COMEDK UGET is a state-level examination conducted by Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka. The candidates selected through the entrance exam are offered admission to engineering and medical degree courses offered by colleges/institutes that are affiliated to COMEDK.
