How To Get The Most Out Of Your Eyelash Extensions Appointment

Our trademark product in the beauty routine is fake lashes. We are totally obsessed with the look! But what if I say you can have a permanent solution with magical and transformative power, that is, eyelash extensions.

Congratulations! Your life is going to be a lot easier, and your lashes will effortlessly look gorgeous without mascara or fake eyelashes. So why not be selfie-ready 24/7? But they need plenty of TLC (tender loving care). So let’s see whether you need to splash the cash and invest in lash extensions. We are giving all the deets before your first appointment.

Stick to this outcome, so you don’t have to push back your appointment, nor does your lash technician have to work faster than they do!

Tips to feel your best every day and ensure your lashes stay TIP-TOP!

Make sure to be on time

Is there anything more soothing than pampering yourself with beauty treatment? First, make yourself relaxed, especially when it’s your first time doing eyelash extensions. It’s good to be punctual about time and arrive five to ten minutes early. It helps you ease down the nerves and avoid rushing to the appointment feeling disturbed and stressed.

If an exceptional situation might compromise your punctuality, you need to inform your classic set eyelash extension service provider. If you get REALLY late, it’s probably best to re-schedule. They understand unexpected things happen! Life (and traffic 🙂) can throw off any plans at the last minute.

Deep cleaning of eyelashes – say no to eye makeup!

Extension application works great on bare, clean lashes, and it prolongs the lifespan of the lashes. If you are coming from your office or brunch, you need to remove your eye makeup, including mascara, eyeliner, and eyeshadow.

It is best with non-oil-based makeup removal as it dissolves lash glue. You don’t need to use eyelash curlers. Makeup will stop your extension from adhering properly. And it leads to a waste of time by delaying eyelash extension procedures. A super scrub is essential, but if they are coated with a week’s worth of mascara or glue from strip lashes, the cleaning process takes too much time!

Deep cleaning

If your lashes are deep clean before you arrive, then they will easily just rinse them and check if there’s stubborn makeup remaining or not. And they dive straight into the process.

Don’t underestimate the type of appointment (Infills or full set)

An infill appointment is half of a full set of lashes and takes half the time to process and lashes to get applied. So if you know that you got half of the extension left, then the best thing to do is to let them know before your appointment so that they adjust and increase your appointment to the full set and add a volume lashes boost.

You might have seen the perfect lashes on your friends, family, or influencer, so take a snap and show your lash technician the image. They could know your preference and offer you desired outcomes. For example, if you arrive for an infills appointment with sparse lashes, they won’t be able to get your voluminous lashes back with 100% fullness. And you will go home wishing and thinking you had more lashes, so take help from them as that would choose the best for your eyelashes.

Settle down as still as possible

Our lash salon became so popular because one of the reasons is that we have created a relaxing and soothing place where you can just lay down and chill out, enjoying the lash application process. So many clients drift off to sleep during their appointment, making it easy for the artist to work on because they don’t move.

Here, you will know that becoming a regular lash extension client is worth it as they will even talk with you if you love it! Be aware of your eye movement as we talk. Our eyes tend to move around, and eyelids can flutter. It can make the delicate process of applying lashes more difficult and time-consuming. So don’t stop talking but be aware of your eye movements.

Let your phone be on SILENT

Have you experienced the worst itch that you can’t scratch? Relax, here I am talking about getting messages or a call during your appointment when your eyes need to shut down. You are left lying down wondering what it was? Was it important? Should you open your eyes to check? Ahh.. so much curiosity (and what if it seems only a promotional call and you made a total mess with your extension – kidding!)

Unless you are waiting on a super-duper important call, then turn your phone on silent. It will help you relax more and make the lash application process a little bit easier.

Remove contact lenses

On the day of the lash appointment, bring along a contact lens case and solution if you wear contact lenses. Eyelash extensions need moisture to cure, and hence to wear contact lenses causes your eyes to feel a little more dry than usual. Don’t wish to remove your contact lens? Get ready with some eye drops as your eyes will dry after the procedure.

Have a friend with you? Keep chatting to a minimum

Of course, I’m not saying you can’t talk at all, but if you want to catch up with a friend properly, the best time for it probably isn’t during your appointment.

You are heartily welcome to bring a friend along with you, but please keep the chatting to a minimum. When friends are chatting, we subconsciously use hand gestures and facial expressions like smiling and even slight nods that make the eyelash extension process much more difficult.

However, it’s an exciting process to watch, so we advise your friend to bring something to do, like to go on their phone or watch a movie or something else. (Make an Instagram reel!)

Wrapping up:

If you follow these simple tips, rest assured that you have the smoothest and stress-free eyelash extension experience. Look effortlessly to our lash extension salon and have damage-free lashes. Your every appointment will be thrilled with gorgeous, natural-looking, fuller eyelash extensions!
