Don’t let construction scare you, all businesses are still operating on Elgin Street and we really appreciate that on-site shopping. There are endless restaurants, cafes, unique shops, and terraces. Some of my favorite lunch spots in town are The Manx and Citizen. Grab games or magazines from The Gifted Type and take part in a Pot and Pantry picnic and head to a nearby park to sunbathe! Go back and end the night on one of the many terraces!

See How the Sun Judges at Ottawa Curtains

This is my favorite place in Ottawa to watch the sunset. Sit so quiet here and listen to the running water of the sluices, watching the colors dance through the water. It is a must every summer. On the right you will find two red Muskoka chairs. Try them early to see the best sunset. They are from Canadian parks and can be found in all national parks and sites.

View Fieneth

Spend the afternoon and see all the frescoes in Glebe. You will find it in the bank and in the fourth. I took this Dreamsicle Dipped Cone Dairy Queen in Old South Ottawa and started looking for the frescoes. See how many you can find Good places to find murals:
